Notes

A seriously good beer from Nomad right here. A beautiful deep red colour with high clarity and a thick lightly tinged head that sticks around. Plenty of pine and citrus on the nose with a hint of sweetness - as per the can notes. Mouthfeel is medium with a relatively low amount of carbonation to help the sweetness from the malts shine through. Some nice caramel and toffee notes that blend really well with the hops that throw plenty of pine and citrus, with some earthy notes thrown in as well. It all combines perfectly for an excellent flavour punch. Hard to believe it's a whopping 8% ABV as the alcohol is barely noticeable which is the only thing that affects the drinkability score. More than one or two of these for us and it's bed time! Can design is cool too featuring art from a collaboration with the National Art School. A perfect winters beer for us.
